Brenda R. Cutrell was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to English and Argentine parents. Her father was John Kirby and her mother Aileen Jacobs. She speaks both Spanish and English as “mother tongue.” She also has a working knowledge of Portuguese. Her comprehension of French and Italian are only of the “listening and understanding” kind. Her every-day life pretty well developed as all peoples’ lives do, with ups and downs.
She is married and very familiar with raising a family. She has worked in a variety of strange professions and non-professions, preferably with animals. She can give good advice on raising organic eggs and selling them, as well as how to groom and work with a thoroughbred yearling to prepare him or her for the Kentucky horse auctions. Herding cattle and sheep is also part of her professional repertoire.
In a more sober vein, Brenda is a Doctor of Philosophy in Religious Studies. She completed her doctoral research at Sancta Sophia Seminary, Tahlequah, OK. She is on the Seminary Faculty and is Program Director for their Graduate Level student body. She has been in the field of esoteric studies for more than twenty-five years and studying humanity for a great many more yet. Part of that study has involved observing emancipated individuals and groups in action.
Brenda has attained an in-depth understanding of categories of energy. It has allowed her to delve into “ancient mysteries” and come up with a very practical interpretation of them in those terms. Her work is eclectic and draws on many of the classics (the Bailey material, Theosophy and more) plus the recent work of a widely-known Latin American philosopher, José Trigueirinho Netto, some of whose work Brenda has translated into English. Her ability to synthesize from a wide array of teachings, to visualize and describe what is occurring at this time to individuals and to groups is her gift to the reader. To read The Emancipated Person is a journey into many parts of a universe of attempts to language the unimaginable, multidimensional, hard to fathom human existence.
